I am an experienced corporate communications consultant and strategist.
I specialise in high-profile and reputationally critical situations. These include M&A transactions, initial public offerings, crises, litigation, investigations, shareholder activism, leadership change, and steady-state issues management and profile-raising.
For more than 15 years I was a partner at Brunswick Group, a leading global communications agency where I advised financial institutions such as Barclays, HSBC, BNP Paribas, the Moscow Stock Exchange and Euronext among many others, and international businesses such as Unilever, Bertelsmann, Israel Corporation, and GDF Suez (now Engie).
I have also represented a number of high net worth individuals active in global business and philanthropy. Mandates have included management of significant donations to academic institutions such as the London Business School, the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Blavatnik School of Government in Oxford, and cultural institutions such as Tate Modern and the V&A.
I graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Modern Languages. I speak French, German, Russian and Hebrew and am comfortable operating across multiple linguistic, cultural, legal and political environments.
I have access to a top-tier global network spanning media, politics and business.
I entered corporate communications after a 16-year career in journalism where I held positions such as the Financial Editor of The Independent, the European Business Editor of the Evening Standard, the Brussels Correspondent of The Scotsman and the City Editor of the Scotland on Sunday newspapers.
